I teach students of all ages, from children (typically 6 years and up) to adults. Lessons are customized based on age and skill level.
In your first lesson, we’ll discuss your musical background and goals, assess your current skill level, and start with some basic exercises or pieces to get you comfortable at the piano.
Yes, having a piano or a quality keyboard at home is essential for practice between lessons.
No, I don’t offer free trial lessons, but I do provide a complimentary 15-minute “meet and greet” session. This allows us to discuss your goals, answer questions, and give you an idea of what to expect from lessons. It’s a quick, no-commitment way to see if we’re a good fit.
You can start lessons at any time, depending on availability. We can begin as soon as your schedule is confirmed.
All lesson cancellations must be notified 24 hours prior to your lesson time to avoid a penalty fee. Lesson cancellations made within the 24 hours time, as well as no shows, will be charged the full lesson fee. If sufficient notice time is given, lesson reschedules may be made at no additional cost.
I am a classical trained pianist so the main focus will be on classical style. If you’re interested in popular style, I can certainly teach you the basics about chords and voicings. However, it is important to start with how to read music.
No, I currently do not offer regular group lessons. My focus is on providing personalized, one-on-one instruction to help students progress at their own pace. However, I occasionally hold group workshops and events, where students can interact, perform, and participate in fun learning activities together. These workshops are a great opportunity for students to collaborate while still benefiting from individual instruction throughout the year.
