Terms & Conditions

Piano Studio Policy

By enrolling in our piano lessons, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Cancellation Policy
Lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee equal to the cost of the scheduled lesson. Cancellations made within 24 hours, as well as no-shows, will be charged the full lesson fee. If a lesson is canceled within the 24-hour window, a reschedule can be provided, and your payment will be applied to a future lesson. Alterations to the lesson schedule are strictly not allowed past the 24-hour time frame to avoid confusion and miscommunication.

Payment Policy
Lessons must be paid one week in advance, and payments are charged in four-week blocks to secure your spot in the schedule.

Lesson Scheduling Policy
Lessons must begin and end at the scheduled time to ensure fairness to all students. Punctuality is essential, and lateness cannot extend the lesson time. If you arrive early, please wait quietly at the door and avoid knocking, as there may be another student before you.

Feedback and Discussion Policy
If you would like to receive feedback on your child’s progress, please arrive 5 minutes before the lesson ends to discuss. Extra lesson time will not be allocated for this purpose. If you require more time for questions or an extended discussion, please arrange a phone call, and I will respond to you as soon as I can.

Child Safety Policy
For your child’s safety, please pick them up promptly at the end of their lesson. The studio does not assume responsibility for supervising children outside of their scheduled lesson time. Once a lesson has concluded, children will be asked to wait outside the studio door for pick-up, and no student will be supervised inside the studio once the lesson ends. It is important that parents and guardians take full responsibility for their child’s arrival and departure. I am not liable for any incidents or accidents that occur outside the scheduled lesson time.

Behavioral Policy

Students are expected to behave respectfully during lessons, both toward myself and their peers. Disruptive behavior that interferes with the lesson or the learning environment may result in a warning or, in extreme cases, termination of lessons. Parents will be informed if any behavioral issues need to be addressed.

Studio Equipment Policy
Students are expected to treat all studio equipment, including but not limited to pianos, keyboards, benches, and other instruments, with care and respect. Any damage caused due to misuse or negligence by the student will be the financial responsibility of the student or their parent/guardian. In such cases, repair or replacement costs must be covered by the responsible party.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you help us maintain a professional, safe, and enjoyable learning environment for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!
